Free Trial: New users receive a 3-day free trial of Palate Premium features. You will not be charged during the trial period.
Subscription Plans:
Payment Processing: All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.
Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.
Price Changes: We reserve the right to modify subscription prices. We will notify you of any price changes in advance, and changes will apply to your next billing cycle.
You retain ownership of any content you submit to our Service, including recipes, notes, and images ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and process your content as necessary to provide the Service.
You represent that you have all necessary rights to submit User Content and that it does not violate any third-party rights or applicable laws.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.
Nutritional Information: Recipe nutritional information is estimated and should not be used for medical or dietary planning. Consult a healthcare professional for dietary advice.
Food Safety: We provide cooking guidance, but you are responsible for ensuring proper food handling, storage, and preparation practices.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PALATE COOKING SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:
IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRIOR TO THE CLAIM.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Palate Cooking and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Illinois.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated Terms and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Palate Cooking regarding the Service and supersede any prior agreements.
